DNArte: Genomic Happy Hour
At last, the moment arrived: which logos will be the finalists in the “Leave your mark” competition?
“DNArte: Genomic Happy Hour” was the first important public digital event for the 5000genomi@VdA project. At 5.30 p.m. on Thursday 26 November 2020, the competition’s prizegiving was held, followed at 6.15 p.m. by a debate – chaired by science journalist Nicla Panciera, who writes for the newspaper La Stampa – titled “Medicine of the future in the Aosta Valley” in which Stefano Gustincich, associate director of the “Technologies for Life Science (LifeTech)” area and manager of the IIT “Central RNA Lab”, and Andrea Cavalli, associate director of the IIT “Computational Sciences” division, spoke on genomics, big data and the use of artificial intelligence in tomorrow’s medicine.
